A warranty is easy to advertise and harder to read. The useful questions are not whether one exists but what it covers, who issues it, how long it runs, and what it explicitly excludes. This page answers those for NOVA-ELEMENTS, including the parts where the answer is narrower than a buyer might hope.
What does the vanity warranty cover?
It covers verifiable defects in materials and workmanship encountered during normal residential use. In practice that means a fault that was present in the manufacture of the piece: a drawer slide that fails in ordinary use, a finish that lifts without external cause, a joint that separates without being loaded or struck.
The word doing the work is "verifiable". A claim needs evidence that establishes a manufacturing fault rather than an event, which is why photographs matter and why the timing of a report matters. Normal residential use is the other boundary: all 10 vanities are warranted for a bathroom in a house, not for a commercial washroom cycling hundreds of users a day. If you are specifying for a hospitality or commercial project, tell us before ordering so the right expectations are set on both sides.
How long does the vanity warranty last?
Vanities carry a one-year limited manufacturer warranty from Nova Elements LLC, running from the original date of purchase rather than from the installation date. That distinction matters when a vanity is bought early in a renovation and fitted two months later, because the clock has already been running. With delivery taking 7 to 15 business days, a vanity is typically two to three weeks into its 12-month term before the crate is even opened.
That is an argument for unpacking and inspecting on arrival rather than leaving a crate sealed until the bathroom is ready: a defect found in week one is unambiguous, while the same defect found in month eleven invites a conversation about cause. The obligation sits with the named company, so a claim goes to us rather than to a third-party administrator.
Is the tub warranty different?
Yes, and the difference is significant. Our freestanding acrylic soaking tubs carry a parts-only warranty against defects. It is not the same one-year cover that applies to vanities.
Parts-only means the remedy is the supply of a replacement component, such as a waste and drain fitting, an overflow cover or 1 of the 4 adjustable leveling feet, rather than replacement of the tub. Both tubs are acrylic and list at $1,200: the FLAT RIM at 67 by 32 by 25 inches, the CURVED RIM at 67 by 32 by 30 for a deeper soak. Defects-only means the fault has to be a manufacturing fault, on the same basis as the vanity cover. Both tubs are currently temporarily sold out and will return with our next container. The tub collection lists both models and their dimensions, and the pages stay online while stock is out.
What is not covered by the warranty?
5 categories are excluded. 1: alteration, modification, misuse, abuse, accident or neglect. 2: environmental exposure such as flooding, fire or acts of nature. 3: improper packing and shipping, which is a carrier matter. 4: damage from installation or removal, unauthorized tampering, or repairs by anyone we have not authorized. 5: any cause not relating directly to a defect in materials or workmanship.
Two of those catch people out. The first is installation damage: a countertop chipped while being maneuvered into a bathroom, or a cabinet fixed into drywall instead of into studs at a counter height of 32 to 36 inches, is not a manufacturing defect. That is one more reason to use a professional on the 9 of 10 models that hang on a wall. The second is water. A bathroom cabinet is built to handle steam and splashes; it is not built to survive a burst supply line standing in it overnight.
Is shipping damage a warranty claim?
No. Damage that happens in transit is handled as a freight insurance claim, on a much shorter clock. Report it within 48 hours, which is two business days, of delivery, with photographs of the product, the packaging and the shipping label, and keep all the original crating until the claim is resolved.
Keeping the two separate is deliberate rather than bureaucratic. Freight insurance is paid for by us and moves quickly, because the cause is established by the condition of the crate and the note on the delivery receipt. A warranty claim is slower because it asks a harder question about the origin of a fault. Sending a transit problem down the warranty route wastes the 48-hour window and makes the claim harder to approve. The shipping protection page sets out the freight procedure in full.
Are the LED mirrors covered?
The mirror is an included component of the vanity, so the same one-year limited warranty applies to it as a defect in materials and workmanship. All 10 mirrors carry 1 of 3 certifications, CE, SAA or UL, depending on the model, and the one held by yours is listed on its product page.
There is one written limitation worth knowing. The warranty does not guarantee that integrated hardware, including LED components, will remain compatible with future third-party products or technologies. That is a statement about interoperability rather than about the light working, and it is standard for any product with electronics inside it. A mirror that stops illuminating within the warranty period as a result of a manufacturing fault is a straightforward claim. Mirrors are not sold separately, so the mirror is covered as part of the set.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Contact us within the warranty period with two things: proof of purchase, which means your order number, and clear photographic or video evidence of the defect. Email nova.elements.contact@gmail.com, or call 813-621-9396 during showroom hours, Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern.
Video is often more useful than a photograph for a moving part. A drawer slide that binds, a soft-close mechanism that no longer catches, or a door that drops out of alignment are all easier to assess in five seconds of footage than in a still image. Describe what the piece does and when it started doing it. One further term to note: our maximum liability under the limited warranty does not exceed the actual purchase price paid for the product, and it does not extend to consequential costs such as a delayed renovation or an installer's return visit.
What do I need to keep in order to claim?
Keep your order number, and keep the packaging until you are satisfied with the piece. The order number is the proof of purchase the warranty requires and it fixes the start date of the one-year period. The packaging matters for the first 48 hours, when a transit claim is still possible.
What cannot be recreated later is a record of the vanity's condition on arrival, so photographing the piece when it is unpacked is worth the two minutes even when nothing is wrong. If a defect emerges in month six, those photographs establish that it was not there on day one. Keep them with the order confirmation somewhere you will find them in a year. For reference, the other 2 clocks are 30 days from delivery to request a return, and 10 business days for an approved refund to reach your original payment method. Our FAQ page covers the related installation questions, and the full range is in the vanity collection.

If you are unsure which applies
Send the photographs and your order number and let us decide which of the 5 routes the issue takes. Getting the category wrong is common and costs nothing, provided the report arrives inside the shortest window, the 48 hours that applies to transit damage.
